About AssinaJá
AssinaJá is a Portuguese digital signature platform, developed and operated by RMB Sistemas de Informação, Lda., in Vila Nova de Gaia. It was built for a specific problem: in Portugal, signing a document with the highest legal validity requires the Digital Mobile Key (Chave Móvel Digital, CMD) or a qualified certificate, and international tools integrate neither.
What we do
We develop and operate AssinaJá, a platform that lets individuals and businesses sign and collect signatures on legally valid documents, without printing, without scanning and without installing software.
We natively integrate the Digital Mobile Key and Professional Attributes — the Portuguese State's qualified signature methods — alongside digital certificates, OTP code signatures and simple signatures, so that each document can be signed at the level of formality it actually requires.
Why a Portuguese platform
International electronic signature platforms handle the generic case well, but they do not speak the language of the Portuguese legal framework. They do not integrate the Digital Mobile Key, they do not know Professional Attributes, and they host documents outside the country.
The national alternative is the Autenticação.gov application, provided free of charge by the Portuguese State. It signs well, but it does not manage workflows: it does not send documents to third parties for signature, it does not track the status of each signature, and it neither generates contracts from templates nor sends documents in bulk.
AssinaJá exists to fill that gap — the legal rigour of the Portuguese framework with the practicality of a modern platform.

Documents and personal data are stored encrypted in Portugal, within the European Union, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
