AssinaJá Cookie Policy

This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Portuguese version is the legally binding text and prevails in case of any discrepancy.

This policy explains which cookies and browser storage the assinaja.pt website uses, what for, and how you can change your choice. The cookies used by the platform (app.assinaja.pt) are described in section 8 of the Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Local storage and session storage are similar mechanisms, also kept in the browser. This policy treats them all in the same way.

Which cookies and storage this website uses

Name Set by Purpose Duration Requires consent
assinaja-ga-consent (local storage) AssinaJá Storing your cookie choice Until you clear the browser No (necessary)
_ga, _ga_* Google Analytics Audience measurement Up to 2 years Yes
Google reCAPTCHA Google Protecting the contact and newsletter forms against bots Set by Google No (security)
aj-page-data-healed (session storage) AssinaJá Recovering a page the browser cached in an outdated state; acts at most once per session Until you close the tab No (technical)

We do not use advertising or social media cookies.

Google Analytics only with your consent

On your first visit, the website asks whether you accept audience measurement cookies. Until you accept, Google Analytics stores no cookies in your browser; the website sends Google only cookieless signals, which do not identify you across visits. If you accept, the _ga and _ga_* cookies are stored.

How to change your choice

You can change your choice at any time through the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; the instructions are in your browser's help. If you block all storage, the website still works, but asks for your choice again on every visit.
